Air Freight
Dakota Airlines operates 2 freighters. Our DC-3 and Sky Van carry loads of up to 7,500 lbs and can travel for 1,000 miles without a fuel stop. We are certified and equipped for all types of hazmat, live animals, and pallets as well as loose and oversized freight.
Passenger Service
All of our aircraft were built for executive transport and corporate charters. They are ideal in size for operating from Williston, North Dakota. Their cruise speed approaches 300 miles per hour. These aircraft save you time over the major airlines. No shuttle to MInot, no long waits at ticketing. We get you home fast and safe.
Meet the Crew
All of our flight crew have years of charter and airline experience. Our pilots have served at United, Eastern, Mesaba, and Sun Country Airlines as Captains. Our flight attendants have been selected for their experience and training. All of our employees are eager to meet you personally. As part of the North Dakota community we enjoy getting to know our customers.

Dakota Airlines, Incorporated was formed to provide service throughout the Bakken. With thousands of workers struggling to find their way back home, our small charter company found a place to grow and provide quality service. We do what we do best. We fly.
Beginning in 1988 as a flight school named University Aviation, it is now growing in both its freight carrying role, as well as in providing luxury passenger charters and flights sold directly to our greatest customers, the hard working people of the Bakken.
We are beginning service from Orlando to Key West, as well as to MIami and Marathon Key. The Keys are idyllic islands, and we have several adventure packages available for your next vacation!
